Hot spliting a transfer onto a light colored garment.

  1. Set your press between 375° and 400°.

  2. Make sure you have firm tension, at least 50 psi.

  3. Position transfer on garment and close press.

  4. Heat for 8 to 10 seconds

  5. PEEL transfer paper immediately after opening press.

 

 

Cold peeling a transfer onto a dark colored garment.

  1. Set your press between 350° and 375°.

  2. Make sure you have frim tension, at least 50 psi.

  3. Preheat garment for 10 seconds if 100% cotton, (50/50 blends do not need to be preheated) then position transfer.

  4. Cover transfer with teflon sheet or clean blank paper.

  5. Heat for 6 to 8 seconds.

  6. Lift  handle just enough to release tension only at first, then SLOWLY raise the handle up so air does lift edges of the teflon or cover sheet.

  7. After transfer has cooled for appoximately 10 to 15 seconds, peel transfer paper.

Due to the wide varity of heat presses, printing times may vary always

preform a test printing on silimar materail before starting a production run.
